Delta Revamps Premium Economy Restaurants and Amenities – Business Traveler

Delta has announced a number of enhancements to its Premium Economy service (Premium Select brand).

Starting this week, customers receive a revamped meal service, with main courses served on bagasse plates made from plant fiber from sugar cane, with linen crockery and napkins, and silver cutlery.

Menu highlights include Braised Beef Short Ribs with Fingerling Potatoes and Dijon Green Pepper Juice; Impossible meatballs with polenta, pomodorini sauce and broccolini; and honey harissa chicken thighs with jollof rice and stewed vegetables.

Delta said Premium Select customers would also benefit from “more dedicated service touchpoints throughout their flight,” including a new “bubbles and bites” service offered shortly after takeoff, consisting of sparkling wine, water and a basket of snacks. An orange peel and vanilla oshibori towel will also be handed out before the first meal.
